You are one of the lucky few who have scheduled regular carpet cleaning care with us at King’s Cleaning Solutions. If you have not, chances are you don’t consider carpet cleaning until it becomes apparent that the carpet is in desperate need of a deep cleaning.

We have a full time schedule that we keep with our regular customers and of course, our new customers that are coming in daily. This means it may be a little while, up to a week, before we can make it to your home or business and get your carpet looking new again. In the meantime, here are a few suggestions you can do to help forestall the problem until we show up. These are only bandages on a worse problem – so do not use these suggestions as a way to resolve your carpet cleaning needs.

SPOT TREAT

While we want you to remember to contact us for carpet cleaning, you can help ameliorate the problem with a quick spot treatment. Remember – those treatments you can buy or rent will not work nearly as well as our professional, commercial equipment. If you are in a pinch and need something done fast, start with vinegar and baking soda sprayed on the stain. Put a damp cloth over the stain. Use an iron with the steam setting and iron lightly. This will help pull some, not all, of the stain up and out. Do not try this on fine rugs.

CHANGE THINGS UP

Unless you have a large sectional piece of furniture that does not easily move, you can rearrange the furniture in the house briefly to cover the stains. Let us know when we get there that you have done this so we can move the furniture out of the way and get to the problem. This is by far the easiest and quickest fix.
